Talk about interrupting the creative process….they turned up in my Battersea studio and started arranging unfinished paintings in the sitting room, and then at 3 am (or it felt like it), a car picked me up and whisked me down the A4 to their studios and on the air - live.
No wonder my jumper was inside out…but I’m glad they did!
Doing things differently.
Some bright spark, aka Jason Wessely (now in 2026 Exec. producer of Sky Golf) thought it a cool idea to send a leopard clad, untrained media pundit to pounce on the unexpected at the home of golf - St Andrews.
The cigar was my idea, lit Hamlet style with backing music, they’re lucky I didn’t think of glugging from a hip flask too!
